DrySphere™ Desiccant
Ideal for Drying HPLC Solvents or GC Gases

DrySphere

DrySphere™ is a new high technology, dust free, spherical activated alumina that is manufactured and designed to optimize drying performance and will not contaminate gas or liquid streams with particulates.

The benefits of spherical DrySphere™ alumina is that they are easy to pack and very convenient to use. Because they are very permeable you can use them inline and not create a large pressure drop. You can dry gases and liquids. DrySphere™ preferentially adsorbs high polarity impurities as well as water.

FOR HPLC:
This is the only desiccant that you actually place into an HPLC solvent reservoir directly and it will keep your solvents free of moisture which will result in an improvement in your baseline. Especially useful in normal phase HPLC but can also be helpful when moisture in your organic solvent can cause problems for your samples in Reverse or Aqueous Normal Phase.

FOR GC and Gases:
Dry gases such as CO2, Acetylene, Air, Argon, Ethylene, Helium, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen and many others including acidic gases. DrySphere will not soften or break.

FOR Desiccating Ovens and Chambers:
DrySphere™ is dust free and will outperform industry standard desiccants and silica gel for amount of water adsorbed/weight.
