Yes, all Cogent HyperSphere™ products are designed to perform exactly as the Hypersil® BDS products.
3. If I use a Cogent HyperSphere™ column instead of a Hypersil® BDS column, will I be outside the SOP that is written for the Hypersil column? [top]
What is important to determine is if your written SOP or Monograph allows for “Equivalent” columns. If so, the Cogent
HyperSphere™ can easily be shown to be “Equivalent”. If your method does not allow for substitutes, you cannot use an
equivalent. Most methods written within the last 15 years, allow for substitutes.
