1. What is the minimum quantity I must order? [top]
We have very small minimum quantities for Custom Buffers. Our normal batch size is 1L of buffer. You then have the
option to have that in 4 x 250ml or 8 x 125ml bottles.
2. Are Custom Buffers supplied with actual lot analysis? [top]
Yes, all of our buffers are made to specifications in a rigid SOP. Then every lot is analyzed in our GMP laboratory
and a certificate of analysis is supplied. Conductivity, pH and UV Absorbance at various wavelengths. Each analysis
is certificated and signed.
3. Do I have to supply the recipe? [top]
No, you have a choice of supplying a specific recipe or simply supply us with the requirements of the buffer and we
will manufacture it for these requirements.
4. How do I order a Custom Buffer? Can anyone order this buffer? [top]
Once you have supplied MicroSolv with your needs and specifications a formal price quotation is supplied to you with
a discrete catalog number (not published by MicroSolv). You or anyone you supply the catalog number to can order
this as a standard item directly from MicroSolv or anyone of our authorized dealers worldwide.
5. What is a normal delivery time for a Custom Buffer? [top]
Once a bona fide order is placed with MicroSolv, typical Custom Buffers are supplied within 10 working days. If
unusual ingredients are required, delivery times will vary depending on the availability of the ingredients.
6. The second time I order the Custom Buffer, how consistent is it with the first batch? [top]
When any MicroSolv Custom Buffer is created, a written SOP is also created in our GMP facility. Every time an order
for the exact same catalog number is placed, the exact same SOP is followed and tested for quality assurances.
7. Can I specify the ingredients to be used in the Custom Buffers? [top]
Yes, when you supply your requirements or recipe to MicroSolv, you can include such requirements as ingredients
suppliers, actual product numbers and even lot #. The actual costs of the Custom Buffers and delivery may vary.
