Discussion
High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is the method of choice for the analysis of proteins and glycoproteins. The figure shows
a chromatogram analyzing a solution of bovine glycoprotein standard (Sigma). The method can be used for measuring relative and absolute
contents of glycosylated proteins in plasma or urine samples. Quantitation of the individual glycoproteins is straightforward. The
Cogent Bidentate C8 300 column is an excellent choice for gradient analysis due to short equilibration time between runs and
repeatability (precison) of the results.
