HPLC Columns
Cogent HPS HPLC Columns are designed for the modern chromatography laboratory and are based on years of product
development and research. Offering advantages due to lack of silanol activity as a secondary mechanism, extremely low
metal content and painstaking control of the production process, the Cogent HPS HPLC Columns are excellent choices
for all types of analytes including bases, neutrals and acids. High efficiency and excellent symmetry.
High Efficiency - Reproducibly
Improved Peak Symmetry
Narrow Particle Size Distribution
Excellent Chromatography
Always Begins With
Excellent Silica Manufacturing
The in-house production of our high purity silica provides us with the control we need to ensure that each batch of
silica is made to exacting standards. Producing perfectly spherical particles with consistent pore volume
distribution and particle size distribution allows our chemists to consistently produce our chromatographic columns
and media. All the bonded phases are manufactured under strict anaerobic conditions and unique bonding techniques have
been employed. For this reason the bonded phases are covered uniformly on the silica surface.
Available Stationary Phases
C18, fully end capped, monofunctional
C8, fully end capped, monofunctional
Cyano
Phenyl
Amino
Silica, unbonded
HPS specifications include:
Monofunctional bonding
Metals content that are so low, that they have virtually
no impact on separation mechanisms as in older
brands of silica based HPLC Columns.
Particle size distribution that is so tight that no
column offers greater efficiency.
Pore volume that is extremely consistent due the
nature of our proprietary chemical process making
resolution extremely reproducible.
An incredibly uniform surface area and structure,
always perfectly spherical!
