HPLC column connectors
Permanent

Self adjusting to any port depth
  Truly the only universal connector.
One connector can be used with Parker™, Valco™ or Waters™ nuts and can be moved from type to type and back again with no adjustment.

  How does it work?
  An internal spring mechanism.
Automatically self adjusts to any pilot depth while maintaining constant pressure on the HPLC tubing.

  How do I use one?
Pick your flow rate and match it to the tubing ID from the chart (Below Right).
Push the connector into the female port and finger tighten the nut. A perfect fit will result. Anyone can do it.

Changing from column to column, especially between different manufacturers can be time consuming and problematic since not all female connectors have the same port depth. Removing ferrules from tubing, getting the right “square” cut and properly seating the ferrule and tubing before permanently swagging it takes a well developed technique; if the right fit is not made, poor chromatography results.

With a Universal Column Connector, anyone can quickly and effectively change HPLC connections without years of training and in 1/10th the time.

The self adjusting mechanism fits any female port depth, automatically. No need to cut tubing, fight to seat the ferrule properly and best of all, no need to worry about poor chromatography due to “plumbing” problems. Only one connector to work with, and it can be used over and over again and does not need any maintenance other than to replace the ferrule occasionaly.

Flow Rate chart

Each column is supplied with color-coded bands to identify the ID of the tubing.

Red 0.005
Black 0.007
Dark Blue 0.010
Yellow 0.020
White 0.030
Green 0.040
