With a 5 µm Particle, this column works well with higher flow rates and lower back pressures compared with smaller particles. Used for hydrophobic or neutral compounds in Reversed Phase, this Octyl Phase is excellent for long chain fatty acids. Expect shorter retention than with a C18 column.
