The narrow-bore design reduces solvent consumption and is commonly selected for LC-MS applications. The sub-2 µm particle technology provides exceptional efficiency and peak capacity, while the column is specifically engineered for high-pressure UHPLC operation. Typical operating flow rates are approximately 0.2–0.4 mL/min. Because of the low flow rates required by 2.1 mm ID columns, standard HPLC systems must be capable of precise and reproducible low-flow operation if they are used with this column.
