These Polytetraflouro ethylene (PTFE) have a polypropylene support. Advanced Quality (AQ) Brand, PTFE Filter Discs can be used with any device when membrane filtration is desired.
Hydrophobic or water resistant membranes with minimal extractables and absolute retention, PTFE is chemically resistant to acids and bases and will not degrade with Normal Phase HPLC Solvents. They can be autoclaved at 121⁰C for 30 minutes or EO sterilization without damage to the integrity or performance of the filter.
