The inner capillary wall is covalently bonded with a polymer with Sulfonic Acid Groups to create a lower than normal negative charge environment that minimally conducts current and creates a much slower than normal Electro-Osmotic Flow (EOF). Ionized analytes will move to the anode or cathode respectively, in longer migration times than on untreated Bare Fused Silica Capillaries..
