These "Male Nuts" used to connect stainless ateel tubing in the high pressures zones of HPLC systems.
This 316L stainless steel fitting has a standard diameter hexagonal head for wrenching the nut.
The short thread length makes this nut ideal for use on injectors such as the Rheodyne™ and others, where space is limited.
Use with single cone stainless steel ferrules which are designed to work with this fitting, providing a permanent attachment to SS tubing for a high pressure connection.
