UHPLC Column, NP Amino, 1.8um, 100A. 2.1mm ID x 150mm Length. Cogent Brand. 1 EA.

Additional Information:

Cogent NP Amino™ is a versatile normal phase and HILIC stationary phase designed for the separation of highly polar compounds that are often difficult to retain using traditional reversed-phase methods. Manufactured on ultra-high purity silica with a propyl amino bonded phase and supplied without endcapping, this chemistry provides excellent selectivity for carbohydrates, sugars, organic acids, and other polar analytes. The stationary phase is commonly used as an alternative for USP L8 methods and is suitable for both Normal Phase and HILIC applications.

68140-15P-2 is a UHPLC column packed with 1.8 µm NP Amino™ particles featuring a 100 Å pore size in a 2.1 mm ID x 150 mm format. The 150 mm length maximizes resolution and peak capacity for complex separations, while the narrow-bore design reduces solvent consumption and is frequently selected for LC-MS applications. The sub-2 µm particle technology delivers exceptional chromatographic efficiency and is specifically designed for high-pressure UHPLC operation. Typical operating flow rates are approximately 0.2–0.4 mL/min. Because of the low flow rates required by 2.1 mm ID columns, any HPLC system used with this column must be capable of precise and reproducible low-flow operation.

This column is particularly effective for sugars, carbohydrates, negatively charged compounds, organic acids, and compounds containing carboxylic acid functionality. Suitable for both Normal Phase and HILIC applications, it is an excellent choice when maximum resolution and enhanced retention of polar compounds are required.
