Packed with 5 µm Cogent RP PFP™ material, this guard cartridge delivers the same selectivity characteristics as analytical and preparative PFP columns.
The packing material is fully double end‑capped and bonded via a four‑carbon linker to a benzene ring substituted with five fluorine atoms, using high purity 100 Å silica. This allows the guard cartridge to maintain consistent retention behavior while extending the life of the main column.
Each cartridge is packed in a durable stainless steel tube with stainless steel frits to ensure mechanical strength and reliable performance under semi‑prep flow conditions.
