Manufactured using ultra-high purity silica bonded with a three-carbon linker and terminal Phenyl functionality, this stationary phase is fully double end-capped to minimize secondary interactions and provide highly reproducible chromatographic performance. RP Phenyl™ offers enhanced aromatic selectivity and is an excellent choice for process-scale separations involving compounds containing phenyl rings and related structures.

68524-P50-250 is packed with 5 µm RP Phenyl™ particles featuring a 100Å pore size in a 50 mm ID x 250 mm process-scale format. The 5 µm particle size performs well at elevated process flow rates while maintaining moderate operating backpressure. The large internal diameter and extended column length provide very high sample loading capacity and maximum chromatographic resolution, making this column ideal for process development, production purification, and manufacturing-scale chromatographic applications.

The 50 mm ID x 250 mm format is particularly well suited for purification of positional isomers, tocopherols, flavonoids, polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons, nitro-aromatic compounds, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), natural products, and related compounds containing aromatic structures. Typical operating flow rates are approximately 80–140 mL/min depending on mobile phase composition, system pressure limitations, and application requirements. A process-scale HPLC system capable of supporting these flow rates and sample loads is required.
