UHPLC Column, NP Silica, 1.8um, 100A. 2.1mm ID x 50mm Length. Cogent Brand. 1 EA.

Additional Information:

Cogent NP Silica™ UHPLC Columns are designed for high-efficiency analytical separations using modern UHPLC and UPLC-type systems. Manufactured from ultra-high purity, low metal content, 100Å silica that remains completely unmodified, this stationary phase provides the native silica selectivity required for HILIC and Normal Phase chromatography. Equivalent to USP L3 silica chemistry, it is an excellent choice for developing new UHPLC methods and for transferring or optimizing established USP methods that specify L3 stationary phases.

82161-05P-2 is packed with 1.8 µm NP Silica™ particles in a 2.1 mm ID x 50 mm analytical UHPLC column format. The small particle size produces exceptionally high efficiency, narrow peak widths, and increased peak capacity compared to larger particle columns. The 2.1 mm ID format significantly reduces solvent consumption while maintaining chromatographic performance, making it an ideal choice for UHPLC, LC-MS compatible workflows, and high-throughput analytical laboratories. Because of the low flow rates required, the UHPLC system must be capable of reliable low-flow operation.

This column is especially well suited for HILIC separations of polar and hydrophilic compounds. The unmodified silica surface provides strong retention of polar analytes, making it an excellent choice for the analysis of pharmaceuticals, metabolites, organic acids, sugars, amino acids, and other compounds that can be difficult to retain using traditional reversed-phase methods. The combination of ultra-high purity silica and 1.8 µm particle technology provides outstanding resolution, rapid analysis times, and increased throughput while reducing solvent consumption and laboratory operating costs.
