82561-SP50-3M is packed with 5 µm NP Silica™ Wide Pore particles in a 10 mm ID x 50 mm semi-preparative format. The 300 Å pore structure enhances mass transfer and analyte accessibility for larger molecules, while the 5 µm particle size supports semi-preparative flow rates with lower operating backpressures than smaller particles. The larger internal diameter provides increased sample loading capacity compared to analytical columns, while the short column length minimizes run times and solvent consumption for rapid purification and analytical-to-semi-preparative method scale-up.

The 10 mm ID x 50 mm format is well suited for HILIC and normal-phase chromatography involving proteins, peptides, lipids, and other large hydrophilic or polar compounds.
