Additional Info:
The 9512S‑0DCV Max Recovery™ Deactivated Autosampler Vial is designed for laboratories that require standard‑volume autosampler capacity with reduced surface activity to improve recovery of adsorption‑prone analytes. Manufactured from first hydrolytic, Class A, Type‑33 borosilicate glass, each vial is chemically deactivated (silanized) to minimize interactions between analytes and the glass surface.
This vial uses the proven Max Recovery™ center‑draining geometry, featuring smooth, ledge‑free internal walls and a conical bottom. The design enables bottom‑entry needle systems to recover the maximum amount of sample during injection, while maintaining a low residual volume of approximately 8 µL.
Key Features
Deactivated (Silanized) Type‑33 Glass
First hydrolytic, Class A borosilicate glass
Chemically deactivated surface reduces adsorption
Improves recovery of basic, polar, or surface‑active compounds
Max Recovery™ Center‑Draining Geometry
Nominal fill volume: 1.8 mL
Residual volume as low as ~8 µL
Smooth internal walls with no ledges
Conical bottom promotes efficient center draining
Autosampler Needle Safety
Bottom depths precisely designed and QC controlled
Helps prevent needles from striking the vial bottom
Compatible with demanding and high‑throughput autosamplers
When to Choose a Deactivated Max Recovery™ Vial
Select the 9512S‑0DCV when:
Max Recovery™ geometry is required for standard‑volume injections
Methods specify deactivated or silanized glass
Improved recovery is needed for adsorption‑prone analytes
RSA™ reduced surface activity is not required
This vial serves as a practical middle ground between standard Type‑33 Max Recovery™ vials and RSA™ Max Recovery™ vials.
Important Geometry Note
This product uses the Max Recovery™ wide, center‑draining internal geometry, optimized for full‑volume injections (1–2 mL). It does not use MRQ™ micro‑recovery well geometry and should be selected specifically for standard autosampler volumes with enhanced recovery.
Typical Applications
Adsorption‑prone or surface‑active analytes
Routine HPLC and UHPLC autosampling
LC‑MS workflows requiring standard sample volumes
Method development and validated analyses
