This kit includes a stainless steel guard column holder and five guard column cartridges, each packed with 4 µm, 100 Å Cogent UDA™ (WCX) TYPE‑C silica. These cartridges utilize the same Undecanoic Acid ligand chemistry as the analytical columns, ensuring consistent chromatographic behavior.

The UDA™ stationary phase features an 11‑carbon hydrophobic chain with a terminal carboxylic acid group, enabling:
