Compatible with typical flow rate analytical columns up to 4,500 psi and 5 ml/minute, as the Filter becomes clogged, pressure will rise, and flow will decline. They are not recommended for use with UHPLC pressure ranges.
The universal connection (fits all HPLC Column threads and pilot lengths) can be installed with a wrench or hand tightened.
When these filters are in use, and pressure starts to rise, simply disconnect (after pressure in the column is at atmospheric), dispose of and replace with a new inline filter element. A 25 piece pack of 0.188 inch, PEEK encased filter elements are supplied but any filter that is 1/4 inch OD and 1/16th inch thick should work. Click HERE for Ordering Information.
