The 49680‑02S Inline Column Filter System is an economical, reusable solution for protecting analytical HPLC columns and instruments from particulate contamination. This system combines a reusable all‑PEEK filter holder with replaceable PEEK‑encased titanium filter elements, delivering reliable pre‑column protection while reducing disposable hardware waste.
Designed for typical analytical HPLC flow rates, the system is compatible with columns operating up to 4,500 psi and 5 mL/min, making it suitable for routine HPLC workflows. It is not recommended for UHPLC pressure ranges.
The supplied 2.0 µm titanium filter discs effectively trap undissolved particles and pump‑seal debris before they can damage injectors or analytical columns. When backpressure increases, the filter holder is simply disconnected, the spent filter replaced, and normal operation resumed—no disposal of the holder required.

Usage & Replacement Guidance
Monitor system backpressure during operation. A rising pressure typically indicates filter loading.
To replace a filter:
Reduce system pressure to atmospheric
Disconnect the inline filter holder
Remove and discard the used filter disc
Insert a new filter and reconnect
The system accepts any PEEK‑encased filter disc that is ¼ inch OD × 1⁄16 inch thick, allowing flexibility in filter porosity selection.
