Featuring a 0.45 µm hydrophobic PTFE membrane, these filters provide exceptional chemical resistance and fast flow rates, making them ideal for sample clarification and prefiltration of organic and chemically challenging solutions.
PTFE membranes are naturally hydrophobic, making them the preferred choice for organic solvents, strong acids, and aggressive chemical environments where other membranes may degrade. For aqueous applications, the membrane can be pre-wetted with alcohol to initiate flow.
