Hydrophobic PTFE membranes are highly resistant to moisture and aggressive chemicals, preventing liquid ingress while allowing efficient gas exchange. This makes them ideal for protecting bioreactors, carboys, media bottles, and vacuum lines from contamination.
With a large 20 cm² filtration area, these capsule filters support high airflow rates (5 L/min at 0.2 bar), ensuring efficient venting without pressure buildup. The lightweight polypropylene housing helps prevent tubing kinks and improves handling in laboratory setups.
