Featuring a 0.45 µm hydrophobic PTFE membrane, these filters provide high airflow with effective particulate and microbial reduction, making them ideal for venting systems where maximum throughput is required.
Hydrophobic PTFE membranes resist moisture and aggressive chemicals, preventing liquid intrusion while enabling efficient airflow. Compared to 0.22 µm vent filters, the 0.45 µm pore size provides higher airflow (≈8 L/min at 0.2 bar), making it ideal for applications prioritizing flow over sterile filtration.
The 20 cm² filtration area supports low back pressure and efficient gas exchange, while the lightweight polypropylene capsule design prevents tubing restriction in carboy and vessel venting setups.
