Standard Heating Module Included with Every Window Maker™
Each MICROSOLV Window Maker™ is shipped with a factory‑installed heating module that creates a detection window approximately 2 mm in length.
This size is the most commonly used for capillary electrophoresis (CE) systems and provides:
- A consistent window width suitable for most detector alignments
- Uniform removal of the polyimide coating
- Reliable optical clarity for UV/Vis and other detection methods
The installed 2 mm module is the default configuration because it meets the requirements of the majority of CE applications.
Optional Heating Modules:
In addition to the standard 2 mm module, MICROSOLV offers interchangeable heating modules designed to accommodate different analytical needs or instrument‑specific requirements.
Available module sizes include:
- 1 mm – for narrow, highly focused detection zones
