1. Required Torque (Nm)

Determining an exact torque is challenging because it depends on variables like tubing wall thickness (subject to tolerance) and how the nut and ferrule interact. Begin tightening until resistance is felt—this is your cue to inspect the tubing’s inner diameter (ID). The goal is to avoid collapsing the ID. Apply additional pressure gradually, monitoring for ID deformation, which indicates a secure fit.

2. Pressure Rating

The connection is designed to withstand at least 50 bar, appropriate for low to medium pressure applications. Using a PEEK ferrule enhances sealing performance at this range.

3. Reusability

Yes, the connection is reusable. It can be opened and reassembled multiple times. However, avoid reopening the connection while the tubing remains loose, as this may lead to improper seating or damage.

Kindly note that high-pressure tubing connectors for 1/8” tubing are not available in our product line.
