Overview

MICROSOLV’s AQ™ and Antarisz™ brands syringe filters are engineered for dissolution testing, HPLC sample preparation, and general laboratory filtration.

Their housing and membrane materials have been carefully selected to ensure strong chemical compatibility with a wide range of solvents—including DMSO—making them suitable for demanding analytical workflows.

Compatibility with DMSO

AQ™ and Antarisz brands of syringe filters use a polypropylene housing, a material known for its excellent resistance to DMSO and other polar aprotic solvents.

Both 0.45 µm and 0.22 µm nylon membranes used in these filters are fully compatible with DMSO‑containing solutions, making them an ideal choice for laboratories working with dissolutions, high‑strength solvents, or concentrated sample matrices.

Additional Chemical Compatibility

Nylon membranes provide broad solvent resistance, offering reliable performance with:

  • Esters
  • Alcohols
  • Weak acids
  • Weak bases

This wide compatibility profile makes AQ™ nylon syringe filters highly versatile for many HPLC, dissolution, pharmaceutical, and general filtration applications.
