🔬 If your instrument manual specifies the use of SRM 2034 Holmium Oxide (HOX) solution, such as PQA-HOX-01, you can confidently use the Chemical Solutions™ Holmium Oxide solution from MICROSOLV as a direct alternative.

✅ Why It Works:

  • The original SRM 2034 physical standard from NIST has been discontinued.  Instead the new standard has become the published NIST specifications.
  • Our HOX solution is fully NIST traceable to the published spectral standard, ensuring it meets the same performance and accuracy expectations.
  • This makes our solution entirely suitable for wavelength accuracy verification in UV-Vis spectrophotometers, even when Starna or NIST-labeled cuvettes are referenced
