Compatible Injector Models

The 2 µL sample loop (catalog #47001‑002) is fully compatible with the following injector models:

  • Rheodyne™ 9725
  • Rheodyne™ 9725i

Both injectors are designed to support 2 µL injection volumes with high accuracy, making them suitable for analytical applications requiring small, controlled sample introductions.

These injectors provide precise rotor‑seal control and maintain consistent internal flow pathways necessary for small‑loop operation.


Injector Type Requirements

The 2 µL loop is designed specifically for use with Rheodyne‑type injectors and is not compatible with Valco™ injector designs.

This distinction matters because:

  • Rheodyne injectors use a flow‑through architecture engineered for small loops.
  • Valco injectors differ in port geometry and switching mechanics, preventing proper alignment and sealing with the 2 µL loop.
  • Using the wrong injector type could result in leakage, misalignment, or inconsistent injection volumes.
