Overview

Accurate detector qualification requires the use of well-characterized standards prepared at known concentrations. Chemical Solutions™ Refractive Index (RI) and Light Scattering Detector Qualification Kits include a series of certified calibration standards designed to evaluate detector linearity, sensitivity, and overall performance.

Each standard is manufactured to a defined concentration and tolerance, providing a reliable basis for instrument performance verification and qualification activities.


Certified Qualification Standard Concentrations

The qualification standards are supplied at the following certified concentrations:

L1 0.200 mg/mL ± 0.0002
L2 0.400 mg/mL ± 0.0002
L3 0.500 mg/mL ± 0.0002
L4 1.00 mg/mL ± 0.001
L5 1.50 mg/mL ± 0.001
L6 2.00 mg/mL ± 0.001

These concentration levels provide a suitable range for evaluating detector response across multiple calibration points.


Calibration Linearity Standards

The linearity standards are prepared using:  Caffeine dissolved in a 10:90 acetonitrile : 0.1% acetic acid solution

This formulation provides a consistent and reproducible calibration material suitable for qualification testing and detector performance assessment.
