This Cogent UDA™ (wcx) HPLC Column is made with Cogent TYPE-C™ Silica, and has an 11 carbon chain with a terminal carboxylic acid group. This silica hydride based stationary phase provides excellent Selectivity, Faster Equilibration and Extremely Robust Column Lifetimes.
Use in Reversed Phase (RP), HILIC or as a Weak Cation Exchange Column (wcx at pH 6 or higher).
The hydrophobic stationary phase has direct silicon-carbon bonds which makes the column very robust and can be used for hydrophilic or hydrophobic compounds, if desired. Also can be used at very low pH (below 2) without damage.
This column is one of our more popular column sizes and often chosen for use in Ion Exchange mode for fast analysis of small, very polar compounds.
