These narrow‑mouth vials are manufactured from TPX® (polymethylpentene) plastic and incorporate an embedded, first hydrolytic, Type N51A pharmaceutical‑grade borosilicate glass insert with a conical bottom.
The glass insert is permanently and securely embedded within the plastic vial body and will not move during use. This construction prevents leakage from the bottom even if an autosampler needle contacts or crashes into the insert, providing improved robustness compared to loosely seated insert designs.
