Syringe Filters, 4mm, RC, 0.22um Pore Size. Grey Polypropylene, AQ Brand. 100/PK.

Additional Info:

Advanced Quality Regenerated Cellulose Syringe Filters, AQ™ brand, for Pharmaceutical Grade HPLC & Dissolution Testing. Manufactured with a unique 0.22µm Regenerated Cellulose Membrane in a 4mm polypropylene housing, these syringe filters are made for laboratories that require consistent, high performance results with ease of use especially during high volume work. Excellent choice when laboratories cannot afford poor chromatographic results.

These filters are used for filtration and sterilization of Protein Solutions, Culture Media and Buffers. The low Protein binding characteristics make these ideal for this these types of applications, particularly where the sample size is very small and recovery of protein of interest is sought. Regenerated Cellulose filters provide absolute retention, very low hold up volumes while offering excellent throughputs. Do not use these filters with strong Acids or Bases.

Validated for many regulatory requirements, they are designed, tested and QC certified. They comply with US FDA CFR Title 21, Part 211.92 for minimum Fiber Release and with USP <788> test for particulate matter in injectables as well as USP for "Sterile Water for Injection" and therefore do not require any initial flushing or discarding of the first 20µl of filtrate saving time and avoiding investigation of failed methods. The polypropylene plastic housing material complies with the requirements of US FDA CFR Title 21 Part 177.1520 and are heat sealed to prevent leaching. These filters pass a test for oxidizable matter as per the USP.

Color Coded: Grey for 0.22µm Regenerated Cellulose, they can be autoclaved for 0.5hours at 121C, 0.1MPa or with Ethylene Oxide. Each Pack is supplied with a Certificate of Analysis.
