Overview

Plastic Chrom Syringes are designed to withstand standard autoclave sterilization procedures, making them suitable for laboratories that require reliable and repeatable sterilization of syringe components used in chromatographic workflows.

Autoclave Compatibility

Chrom Syringes are fully compatible with autoclaving applications when used under typical sterilization parameters. Their construction materials tolerate the high heat and pressure conditions involved in steam sterilization, ensuring structural integrity and functional performance after repeated cycles.

Important Consideration: Syringe Filters

If your workflow includes syringe filters attached to the chromatography syringes, it is essential to confirm that the filter itself is also rated for autoclave sterilization. Not all filter membranes and housings are compatible with high-temperature steam conditions, and using a non‑autoclavable filter could compromise both sterility and device performance.
