The UV-Vis Calibration Kit includes two key standards:

  • Caffeine Standard: Provides absorbance peaks at 205 nm and 273 nm.
  • Holmium Oxide Solution: Offers 14 well-defined absorbance bands spanning 241 nm to 641 nm.

While the kit does not include a direct reference point at 200 nm, the caffeine peak at 205 nm allows for extrapolation to this wavelength. This is typically sufficient for qualification purposes, as 200 nm is near the lower detection limit for most HPLC solvents due to their UV cutoff.

Note: Always verify that your solvent system does not interfere at this wavelength.
