Sodium Ions Will Not Interfere when using Aqueous Normal Phase methods.
In an Aqueous Normal Phase (ANP) method, sodium ions (Na⁺) typically elute at or near the void volume when analyzing polar compounds.
Because of this early elution, sodium does not overlap with the succinate peak—or any other analyte peaks—ensuring accurate quantitation.
