Controlled EOF | Zero flow | Bare fused silica capillaries for CE.

Controlling the electroosmotic flow (EOF) is one of the most important parameters in Capillary Electrophoresis. The Controlled Flow Capillaries™ are covalently bonded with an acrylamide derivative surface to keep the EOF independent of the pH from 1.5 to 8.0. The flow rates of these capillaries will be much faster and reproducible compared to bare fused silica.

Zero EOF Capillaries™ are one of our most popular items for CE. Covalently bonded for stability, these capillaries produce virtually no EOF even at high voltage and are useful between pH 2.0 and 8.0. No change in methodology is required other than the conditioning step and are supplied with certificates of analysis for EOF characteristics. For best results, it is recommended NOT to use heat to create windows in coated capillaries.

Simplusbrand, bare fused silica capillaries are designed and manufactured for Capillary Electrophoresis. The various internal diameters are controlled for concentricity producing more uniform EOF and reproducible results. "Big Packs" (10 meter & 25 meter lengths) are supplied on reels for easy use.
