The Cogent TYPE-C HPLC Columns all have the same physical advantages of standard, market leading high purity, type-B silica supports. The difference of TYPE-C Silica is that it under goes surface modification during manufacturing that makes the particle hydrophobic and without the ordinary water layers.

The final stationary phase is Silica Hydride with unique bonded ligands for special selectivity and other physical advantages of standard HPLC and LCM columns.
