Cutting metal tubing is one of the most difficult tasks in chromatography. This tool will produce a satisfactory way to cut metal tubing which can be used in non-critical connections.
This Scoring Tool is not meant to cut the metal tubing all the way through but to score the tube in order to break it. This way you will not close the inner diameter of the tube. Use our File for removing the any burrs or other pieces of tubing that may remain.
This tool is designed to score 1/16" or 1/8" Stainless Steel Tubing.
For critical chromatography applications, we recommend you use our pre-cut tubing.
