Remove polyimide coating | Without flames | Fast & convenient.

Consistent 2mm windows - Easy to use.
1mm, 4mm & 7mm window sizes are sold separately.
No flame or harsh chemicals required.

This unique unit is highly recommended for removing of polyimide from CE capillaries to make a detection window. A consistent 2mm window is created without weakening the capillary which can happen when using a flame or harsh chemicals. Not recommended to use with CEC columns or some coated capillaries.

This unit is supplied with a 2mm module. Other burn modules: 1mm, 4mm or 7mm, 1mm are sold separately. 1mm modules have one coil loop , 2mm has 2 loops, 4mm has 4 loops and 7 has 6 loops. See pictures on the right. Internal circuitry prevents prolonged burning which can result in window "blurring" and aberration of the UV beam.
