How do I clean the PQ or HSQ kit HPLC column - FAQ

NOTE: The HPLC columns included in the Chemical Solutions™ PQ or HSQ Qualification Kits are intended exclusively for instrument performance qualification testing, not routine sample analysis. As such, it should remain uncontaminated under normal use.
🧪 Routine Use:
- Before starting your qualification sequence, a 10–15 minute equilibration is typically sufficient.
- No additional cleaning is usually necessary if the column is used as directed.
🧼 If Cleaning Is Ever Required:
- Flush the column with a 50:50 mixture of acetonitrile and water for 15–30 minutes.
- This gentle rinse is effective for removing any incidental buildup without compromising column integrity.
Maintaining the column in clean condition ensures consistent and reliable qualification results. Do not use these columns for any other purpose.
