Cogent HPS Amino™ HPLC Columns are designed for the analysis of highly polar compounds using Normal Phase and HILIC chromatography modes. Manufactured using tri-functional bonding of a three-carbon silane with a terminal amino functional group bonded to high-purity silica, this stationary phase is not end capped and provides the selectivity required for challenging separations of carbohydrates, sugars, organic acids, and other polar analytes. HPS Amino™ is widely used as an alternative for USP L8 methods and for new method development requiring amino phase selectivity.

75040-05P is packed with 5 µm HPS Amino™ particles in a 4.6 mm ID x 50 mm analytical format. The short 50 mm length is optimized for rapid analysis, method development, and high-throughput screening applications where fast cycle times and reduced solvent consumption are important. The 5 µm particle size provides reliable efficiency with lower operating backpressure compared to smaller particle columns, making it suitable for conventional HPLC systems.
